FREIGHT MANAGEMENT
Stott & Davis Logistics uses its outsourcing resources to provide complete coordination of all or a portion of the client's traffic needs, thereby limiting or eliminating demand on the client's human resources and reducing the client's direct costs.
Auditing services can include a pre-payment review to ensure an accurate freight classification rating and post-payment analysis. The company works directly with the client's vendors to help prepare the bills of lading correctly and will recover, chargeback, or report any discrepancies found.
By analyzing the client's freight bills, Stott & Davis Logistics obtains a clear picture of the client's unique business and can offer suggestions for maximizing the value received for dollars spent on transportation.
Stott & Davis Logistics takes every precaution to ensure that only the most reputable companies are used to control loss and damage. A minimum of $250,000 in adequate cargo insurance and up-to-date bond authorities and brokerage licenses are essential requirements for anyone looking to join our team.
Centralized bill payment services are available. Clients can write one check or transfer funds into an established account, and Stott & Davis Logistics will distribute funds to the various carriers.
Stott & Davis Logistics's custom-designed software allows reports and analyses to be custom designed to meet individual clients' requirements.
